herbal update #5

The day has finally come: I can use my herbs for cooking!

Last night’s dinner was onion bulgur-otto with baked bell pepper and parmesan fried turkey breast. Delish!

IMG_3422The ingredients – the thyme didn’t grow as much as e.g. basil but let me tell you it smelled amazing!

IMG_3425I love the name bulgur-otto! Risotto, only made with bulgur :-)

  3. That photo of your Risotto has made me instantly ravenous!!! I bet it tasted extra nice because you had your home grown herbs in the mix!


  4. how fun! i would love to use herbs i grew for home cooking! my mom is growing herbs right now…maybe we shall use some soon!


    • You should! It feels so good when you can use ingredients, you’ve planted yourself.
      Can’t wait to have my own little garden!

    The homegrown herbs where almost too strong in taste.
